Walking into the Woman’s Club of Orange, I had no idea what to expect for this venue, but I was honestly shocked! I absolutely LOVED it! The ceremony site and cocktail hour space is full of greenery, beautiful lights that twinkle at night, and beautiful brick floors with cute benches and tables around.
The day of the wedding, I met Emily in the little bridal suite at the venue and she was full of smiles! Her easy going energy and vibe just radiated! Her and her bridesmaids were relaxed and just ready to celebrate the love of Emily and Ian!
Once I met up with Ian and David, Ian was anxiously waiting to see his bride and also get into cooler air (it was a warm October day! Hehe)
Their first look was so sweet with tons of smiles and exchanging compliments to one another. We dived right into their portraits and I couldn’t have been any happier with what we captured. Although it was warm, the beautiful architecture at the Civic Center in Orange, across the street from The Woman’s Club of Orange, made the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds and their bridal party!
After the photos, everyone was ready to get the show on the road and we were just as excited!
Ian and Emily weren’t huge on details, but they were huge on having special people speak during their ceremony. Between the officiant, a dear friend, and Emily’s father, and of course the bride and groom exchanging vows, it was a ceremony beautifully spoken.
There reception had the best crowd! From everyone really watching the dances, listening to the toasts, to being on the dance floor, I couldn’t be any happier for Ian and Emily to have such an amazing crowd celebrating with them!
It was not only a beautiful day, but it was a true representation of Emily and Ian as a couple. Laid back, but with structure, and of course, fun! 🙂
To the newlyweds: Thank you SO SO much for having us be apart of your big day! The past few months of us getting to know each other has FLOWN by! I am honored to have been apart of your love story and capturing your big day!
