Lilly & Mario’s wedding day in Orange at St. Nobert’s church and the Vintage Rose Events venue has been a wedding I have been looking forward to blogging! Their day was my last 2018 wedding to photograph and it was the best wedding to end my 2018 season with.
Although you would think December would be cold for a wedding, but we actually had such beautiful weather. Sunshine and gorgeous clouds in the sky! (you will see them in some of their photos! 😀 ) Both Lilly & Mario were calm and collected in the morning when David and I showed up. I can’t say too much about how Mario was, as David was with him, but I loved the energy the girls had in the room with Lilly! They were calm, full of smiles, and just ready to have fun and celebrate Lilly becoming a WIFE! 😀
Once it came to heading to their first look, Lilly made sure she had one with her dad before we headed off. Both of her first looks, with her father and future husband, were so sweet. Her dad was in awe and full of smiles and Mario got chocked up and she wiped away his tears. So heart melting!
Lilly and Mario have 18 years of history together. They met in middle school PE with big white shirts and green shorts. As she said, “I didn’t know it was possible to have someone fall for me in those outfits, but here we are.” If you went to Cerro Villa Middle School in Villa Park, CA, you know. I attended the school and I couldn’t help but laugh when Lilly said that comment. It’s true, those PE outfits were not cute! haha!
Over those years, they have grown through puberty, long distance, multiple school graduations, and coming home and starting their careers together. Now, they are embarking marriage and it was such an honor to be there to capture the start of a huge step in their relationship. 🙂
Mr. & Mrs. Razo had the greatest attitude on their wedding day, had the best wedding party, and made sure everyone was having a good time on their wedding night. I can’t help but smile thinking back on their day. It was just the best!! hehe!
Now, to stop rambling and to show you all the photos to show off their gorgeous day!! 🙂
XOXO,
Shelby Danielle

Mario gave Lilly the sweetest gifts. A necklace and a mirror that says, “You’re perfect.”
One of the many reasons I love first looks: you have these moments to yourselves and can have your true emotions come out. It’s so special!
Eisenhower Park in Orange, CA barely had any people on a Saturday morning! It was perfect for them as we walked around capturing their portraits. 🙂
MARRIED!!
The Vintage Rose has the cutest little tables around for displays!
Love making sure my couples have time for their “room reveal.” This allows for them to view the room before their guests enter. They see it all set up and perfectly done. 🙂 They spent so much time planning the details for their reception, so I like to make sure they see the final outcome. 🙂 They also have the chance to practice their first dance before the real thing!
Lilly’s father kept chocking up during his speech, so her brother came in and helped finish the touching speech.
Thank you Lilly & Mario for trusting me with your big day!! It was such an honor to be there for you both! 🙂
