Tawny + Robbie | Engagement

I met Tawny my freshman year in our Spanish II class. She was a junior and one of the only upperclassman that I absolutely LOVED. She was down to earth, outgoing, and SO sweet. She made the time we spent in class fun and with it being the last class of the day, that meant a lot!
As the years have past, we have stayed in touch through social media. We didn’t talk much, but we still got to see each other grow outside of high school. I remember seeing her have so much fun her freshman year in college up in San Francisco but then went into the Navy shortly after.  I’ve loved seeing Tawny’s posts about her life being in the Navy and posting about her boyfriend, Robbie,  now fiancé.  They both worked on deck together and that’s how they met and started to date. After almost two years of dating, Tawny got purposed to. Last week, Robbie popped the question by creating a scrapbook. In the scrapbook was all the photos from the first dates to the most recent photos. The last photo had, “Will You Marry Me, Tawny?” Isn’t that SO cute!? I absolutely loved that Robbie came up with that! It meant a lot because it brought back memories and gave such a happy ending to the book, but it also meant a lot because Tawny LOVES photography and starting a business of her own! So, the way Robbie asked her to marry him was PERFECTION! HeHe!
Just a few days after being engaged, Tawny contacted me and I was SO happy to know she wanted me to be their photographer! We took our photos in Old Towne Orange, California and that’s where I found out Tawny + Robbie are PERFECT for each other. You know how I mentioned how Tawny was outgoing and fun to be around? Robbie is the same way! Not only that, but he also has a two year old son, Matt and the way Tawny is with him is amazing. You can tell how much Matt loves Tawny and of course, his dad Robbie. These three are the most amazing match. It was fun just watching Tawny + Robbie be in such passionate love, but once Matt came along towards the end of their session, it was like they were already the perfect family. I can’t wait to see how their life together plays out!
Oh, I do have to mention before you see the photos, how much I LOVE the fact that they wore my branding color to their engagement session! I was ECSTATIC once I saw them! Oh! And guess what!? Their wedding colors are this kind of blue with silver! AHH! So much happiness and excitement!!
Anyways, please enjoy their adorable photos until their wedding photos come in spring of 2016! 🙂

XOXO,
Shelby Danielle
