The place you choose to have your engagement photos should reflect your unique relationship! Trying to choose amongst all the gorgeous locations in Southern California to announce your engagement can be completely overwhelming. This is why I decided to highlight some of my favorite locations where I’ve experienced the beauty first hand! Let’s begin!
Thomas Riley Wilderness Park – Coto de Caza, CA
I love the Thomas Riley Wilderness Park. The golden fields of grass and the rolling hills make this place feel like a sun-drenched wonderland. It has a unique forest feeling with its tall trees that change throughout the seasons. The dirt roads add a particularly rustic feel, and when caught at sundown, the atmosphere feels like magic! It also is usually uncrowded so you get lots of privacy. (Anytime other than October & November during family session season)
Chino Hills State Park, CA
Chino Hills feels like paradise. The lush grass fields and endless greenery of the landscape provide a sun-drenched backdrop to any couple. It’s over 14,000 miles of protected wilderness with natural trails and an abundance of wildlife! It also changes with the seasons throughout the year so if you’re looking for a sunny summer vibe or a classy fall backdrop, the Chino Hills State Park is the perfect location.
Laguna Beach, CA
Laguna Beach is pretty iconic. From the rolling desert hills to the gorgeous beach-side cliffs, there are so many different places to shoot. With so many unique backdrops to choose from, this place is perfect for adding a dash of your personality into the session. The hidden beach coves, Treasure Island Beach, or the scenic bluffs has every backdrop you can think of!
