A few weeks ago, I had the chance to talk to my high school photo teacher’s students. I plan on blogging about the experience sometime soon, but for now, today’s blog post is about a mentoring session I had with one of her students.
When I was first asked to talk in front of Mrs. Shine’s, my photo teacher from high school, I didn’t think I would have her students asking for mentoring sessions. In one of her periods, there was a young man who was constantly asking questions as I was giving my presentation.. I loved it!
He later asked for a mentoring session and of course, we made it happen! It was a Sunday afternoon and we were watching the weather all day, with a fear of it getting rained out. With a little hope for rain too! Our couple was ready to be photographed with some romantic rain shots! hehe!
We didn’t get rained out, we actually got some amazing skies that gave great back drops!
If you are a photographer wanting to learn more about how to take control of your camera, how to pose your subjects, etc. please contact me! I would love to set up a date + time to teach you what I have learned over the years. 🙂
I hope you all enjoy the photos that I got to capture of Ian + Michelle during my mentoring session with Albert. 🙂
