Chamnan was a maid of honor in Lucia & Isaiah’s wedding a little over a year ago and when she contacted me saying she was engaged, I was so excited for her!
As we discussed her wedding plans, I sat there in such honor. She played such a big role in Lucia’s life and helped so much on that day. Now, she is choosing me to be there to help capture this special time in her and Daniel’s wedding? Ahh! So blessed!
Once it came time to schedule their engagement session in Long Beach, CA, we had to play some dates back and forth. We were finally able to find a date that worked for all of our schedules! Yay!! But as the day approached, the forecast was saying we were going to have rain, specifically at the time of their session. With both of our schedules being crammed and both of our wedding days only a month apart (3 weeks exactly), the stress of having the reschedule came. The day arrived and we decided to stick with it and I am SO glad we did. The afternoon came and it rained and it scared us, but by the time the evening came for their session, there was no rain to be seen!! We got some gorgeous sunlight, with some dark cloud in the distance, which made a great back drop for some of their photographs. And for the location? It was called Jack Nichol Park in Long Beach, CA. Daniel found it one day as he was riding his bike. I love new locations and during their session, I was having so much fun exploring the little area and capturing something different from my norm. 🙂
I hope you all enjoy these photographs of such a sweet couple, as we count down to their wedding day in June! 🙂
XOXO,
