I remember late last year when David was telling me that his cousin was going to propose to her girlfriend. Shortly after him telling me, we saw all over social media that she did it!
Not much time passed until Nadine, David’s cousin, contacted me asking about being their photographer. I was so honored!!
We ended up going on a double date and that’s when we were making it official and David and I could not have been anymore excited to start giving them the Shelby Danielle Wedding Experience to one of his family members!
One thing that they brought up was that they fell in love with my work and followed me on Instagram before they even knew who I was! WHAT!? I was blown away. It all worked out that we ended up being closer than we had ever imagined! 🙂
When it came time to plan their engagement session, David and I were counting down the days to have another excuse to hang out with them and of course, photograph this exciting time in their lives.
I sometimes wonder why (but always happy they do)my clients ask this, but I totally understand why. But Veronica, Nadine’s fiancé, asked if she could bring her daughter to the session. I instantly said of course! Engagement sessions are about he couple, but part of being a couple is also loving your child or your significant other’s child. I was pleased to have her daughter there!
Their engagement session took place at Irvine Regional Park and even though we didn’t get sunshine, we were so excited to work in areas of the park that we don’t normally get to, but the light tends to be harsh.
Nadine and Veronica loved the look of it too, so everything fell in to place the way it was suppose to. 🙂
I am not only excited to be sharing some favorites from their engagement session, but also be photographing the start of their marriage next April!! EEKK!!
