A happy engagement session | Santiago Oaks Regional Park

Shea and Daniel were gifted an engagement session from our sweet, mutual friend, friend, Julia.

A couple months before their engagement session is when Julia contacted me asking if she can gift her friend an engagement session. Of course I was happy to help put this together for her and her friend!

As the time passed and we started to plan and set a date, it had to get rescheduled due to the crazy weather we were having. We didn’t want to get rained out, so we rescheduled for a date later in the month.

The day finally arrived and it was full of sun shine until their session! Ahh! Well, they were great sports and still wanted to have their photos taken that day!

We may have wanted sunshine and golden hour for their session, but their smiles + laughter made our gloomy day so much brighter!

In between capturing their happiness and love, David and Daniel got to talk all about sports, while Shea and I got to talk about their love story and wedding planning. Although these two went to the same high school, they didn’t connect until a sweet Facebook message after graduation. Dating through baseball and becoming a teacher, these two are now taking another step into their lives and getting married this summer! So excited for them! 🙂

We are thankful for our sweet friend, Julia, for gifting this adorable couple a session to Daniel + Shea. We absolutely loved spending time with these love birds and having fun exploring Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange, CA during the season of green! I mean, just take a look! That location was full of green and it made my photographer heart so happy! heheh!

Enjoy!

XOXO,
Shelby Danielle
