A foggy, yet sweet beach engagement session

Two wonderful Laguna Beach engagement sessions in a row? You betcha!! Hehe!

Montana and I first started talking back in April and as our session came up quick, I continued to become so excited to meet her and Nate. They will be getting married up North next month but needed engagement photos and I am so honored they contacted me to photograph this special season in their lives.

We first started talking about a location full of nature. As we emailed back and forth she decided to randomly ask for some examples photos at the beach. Of course, Laguna Beach was their pick for their engagement session. After I sent her examples at different beaches, she simply emailed back with, “Uhm.. Definitely Laguna!!” hahah! I couldn’t help but giggle! It really is so gorgeous and the perfect Orange County, CA backdrop for photos.

We both left from our homes which are more inland with sunshine and warmth, to arrive at Laguna with fog, overcast, no sun what-so-ever, and some chills from the soft breeze.

We were first hoping to have some sunshine and golden hour, but with the weather that Southern California coast gave us, we were dying of how romantic and soft the light was… We loved it!!

During their session, David and Nate got to chat about how they grew up and what business fields they are in, while Montana and I got to talk about how they met, how he proposed, and all the exciting wedding plans. David and I seriously love hanging out with our couples and getting the chance to photograph a part of their love story at the same time! 🙂

As always, I hope you all enjoy their session as much as we do! It’s different from my normal photos, but we still adore them (Montana + Nate AND the photographs! hahah!)
