Downtown Senior Portrait Session | Santa Ana, CA

Last week I mentioned that I had a session with one of my senior reps, Bridget. ( You can view that post/session here.) During her session she had the chance to bring a friend to have photos with. She brought her friend Natalie with her and usually I only limit it to photos of each other. BUT, I made the exception for this shoot because my photographer heart was just dying over the beautiful light and Natalie’s outfits! 😀

I am so excited I had the chance of capturing Bridget AND Natalie! They are both beautiful girls and we had so much fun during their session! 🙂

During their session, I found out they became friends during their freshman year in high school and over their four years of high school, they became best of friends. Now they are both going off to different colleges in two different states. I remember after high school how scary and sad it was for my close friends and I to be splitting up to not only different schools, but also states. Luckily we are in a generation with group chats, easy access to phone calls, and social media to stay in the loop. My friends and I are still super close and it’s been 4 years since we graduated. I can see Bridget and Natalie doing the same thing. Their bond wont be broken from the distance. 🙂

Natalie, congrats on your upcoming high school graduation this June and good luck on your endeavors at Cal Poly!

XOXO,
Shelby Danielle
