I’ve had dogs come to sessions plenty of times. Between engagement sessions and family sessions, a lot of clients bring along their fur babies.
I have had yet to have a portrait session solely based on having portraits with a puppy.
When Kaycee contacted me wanting a session with her new French bulldog, Louis, let’s just say I squealed!! Hahah!
I was SO excited for this session!!
The morning of the session, we contemplated on rescheduling due to the random heat wave we had here in Southern California in the middle of OCTOBER! We decided to stick it out and I am so glad we did. It was a hot October evening, but we weren’t dying as much as we thought we would be. Although it was over 100 degrees (to be exact, it started at 107 and ended with 103 for our session! Bleh!), the photos don’t show it! 🙂
When Louis and Kaycee showed up to Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim, California, Louis was so relaxed in Kaycee’s arms!
During their whole session, Louis was the most behaved and chill dog EVER. Them to together made my job SO easy. One thing that was a bit of a challenge, but kept Kaycee and I laughing was the fact that Louis did NOT want to walk or chase Kaycee for some fun action shots! Hahah!
I am thrilled to be sharing some favorites from their session today! I hope it makes you smile, as it does for me! 🙂
XOXO,
Shelby Danielle
