Carbon Canyon Regional Park Engagement Session

Danielle and Brian were referred to me from a sweet photographer friend, Kristen of Kristen Lynette Photography. Brian is Kristen’s brother and when she referred someone so special to her, my way, I was so thankful!

When David and I met with Danielle and Brian, we all hit it off! We ended up finding out that Brian and David went to school together and knew some of the same people! Then, Danielle and I share the same name 😉 I mean, it’s my middle name, but still! Hehe! It was such a fun meeting of getting to know each other more before their engagement session.

I don’t hear these type of stories as much anymore, but I still love them! These two met through a mutual friend. Danielle had a friend in high school that went off to college, where that friend became friends with Brian. Love how friendships start and somehow that friendship can bring others together, where a love story can be created. 🙂 It’s the best!

When it came to the day of their engagement session and having them let me know they wanted Carbon Canyon Regional park in Brea, CA, I was looking forward to it all day! I haven’t shot there in over a year and it was perfect! Since we shot during a weekday, we almost had the WHOLE park to ourselves. We only ran into a handful of people, but we never had to make sure they weren’t in the background of the photos. It’s was a dream!! Hehe!

As we explored the park, it was so fun to talk all about wedding planning. They had just finished their food tasting that afternoon, they still had to work on centerpiece choices, and bridal party outfits. It’s so much fun being able to relate to my clients, as David and I have gone or going through what they are or will be goi g through. 🙂
