Your wedding cake is yet another amazing opportunity for you to emphasize your theme, create a sense of cohesion, and infuse additional personality into your boho wedding decorations. You may be asking, “Is my cake really a decoration?” The answer is YES! Absolutely! Your cake is on display as a focal point during your reception. Not to mention, often times couples will opt to serve pre portioned small plate desserts, like macarons, petit fours, or shot glass cakes to guests in lieu of having to slice & distribute their wedding cake during the reception. In these instances, the cake is more of a decoration or prop than it is a sweet treat! So definitely put some extra thought into what you would like for your wedding cake to look like!

The devil is in the details! Your details–or lack thereof–can truly make or break the ability of your wedding to come across as the theme or “vibe” that you wanted it to. That’s why I HIGHLY encourage couples to take their details into consideration while planning their wedding decor.
So what are the details exactly? The details are things like your guest book table, your wedding entrance, your dance floor, any signage that you may have up or any photo opportunities that you plan to set up for guests whether its a photobooth or a photo wall!
