Alana | Laguna Beach High School Senior

I haven’t blogged a senior session in awhile and I am so excited to be blogging about Alana’s senior session at Laguna Beach, California!

Last November, I spoke to my high school photo teacher’s classes. I talked about how I started this business in her class my junior year (2011) and how I found my style. During one of the classes, Alana was in there and started to follow my on going journey on social media.

Almost a year later, her mom contacts me to let me know her and Alana are interested in booking a high school senior session with me as their photographer!

I was so honored to know that another student wanted me as their senior photographer this year!

As the time passed, I counted down the days to her senior session! I absolutely love being there to capture this time in high school (or college) students lives! They are about to embrace new changes and I love helping them by capturing how they are now. So they can look back and see what their senior year was like.

I also got into my senior portraiture during my senior year and I remember vividly how my senior year was. I love being able to relate to them in that way. 🙂

Alana was absolutely sweet, goofy in her own way, and fun to be around.

She brought her mom, her aunt, and her little sister along to her session. It was so much fun getting to hang out with all of them and get to know them during the senior session. I even got to capture her and her little sister together in some photos. 🙂
